Why Do I kitesurf?

This was shot in 2012 – it was a compilation of videos and photos that I used to try best describe all the facets of kitesurfing.

Back in the day when we used to ride onshore winds at Country Club beach which we named Kitebeach back then This is where I first met Sipho Dlamini who was a car guard back there in the day. We ran our clubhouse from down there and Vincent, Sipho and Manuel all used to live down there and look after all the kiters. There was more of a segregation back then, as you had the Slingshot crew and the Ocean2air guys. Sin was at the Lagoon back then where he used to teach from. We had Ross McGill teaching for us and kiting was going at a fast pace.

The limits were being pushed and the vibe was competitive and we were all pushing each other.
